Statement on the Use of Generative AI

The International Journal of AI and Computational Sciences (IJACS) acknowledges both the opportunities and challenges presented by generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E) in research and academic publishing. Authors must disclose any use of GenAI in preparing their manuscripts, including but not limited to data analysis, text generation, image creation, or any other form of contribution.

  • Generative AI tools cannot be credited as authors.
  • Authors retain full responsibility for the integrity, originality, and ethical compliance of their submissions, including any AI-generated content.
  • The journal reserves the right to request additional details or clarifications regarding the use of GenAI.

This policy reinforces IJACS’s commitment to transparency, research integrity, and the highest academic publishing standards.

Peer-Review Process

Reviewing at the journal is conducted according to international standards. Once a manuscript is submitted by an author, it is promptly forwarded to the reviewers. Articles are generally reviewed within one week of receipt via email. Reviewers complete an evaluation form, which includes the following criteria:

  • Adequacy, comprehensiveness, and modernity of the literature review.
  • Importance and justification of the research (clarity of the problem).
  • Originality of the research and its inclusion of elements of novelty and innovation.
  • Clarity of objectives and the research’s contribution to addressing community issues, as well as the applicability of its findings.
  • Clarity and practicality of the research methodology, and the consistency of procedures and tools with it.
  • Clarity of the statistical analysis tools used and their relevance to the research topic and data.
  • Significance and contribution of the results to knowledge growth and exchange.
  • Coherence, smoothness of presentation, and clarity of the writing language.
  • Accuracy of citations within the text and in the list of references.
  • The researcher’s adherence to the journal’s publication guidelines and policies.

Each manuscript is sent to at least two reviewers. If one reviewer rejects the manuscript and the other approves it, the journal will refer the manuscript to a third reviewer for a final decision.
